The Kanohi Vahmu is the Mask of Aging.
The Kanohi Vahmu allows the wearer to accelerate the life processes of one target within range, causing them to age faster and making them slower and weaker. Using this Kanohi is considered immoral and breaks the Toa Code.
A Vahmu Nuva is created when a destined Vahmu is dipped in Energized Protodermis. In addition to its standard abilities, its range is increased, its effects are harder for targets to resist, it causes more damage to its targets, and its power can be shared with individuals near the user; however, it can only be used by Nuva beings.
In the Doronai Nui
Great
As a 2AP action, the wearer may spend 1 or more Kanohi Charges to choose one of the following effects:
- One biomechanical or organic being within 45ft must make a FORT save (DC +3, WIS). On a failure, the being gains 1 level of Exhaustion (to a max of Level 6 Exhaustion), which lasts until the end of their next Rest. If this Kanohi is used on a being that is already suffering Exhaustion levels, it has no effect unless the wearer spends additional KC equal to the being’s current level of Exhaustion. Additionally, if this Kanohi is used on a being suffering level 6 Exhaustion, rather than causing another Exhaustion level it instead turns any levels of Exhaustion caused by the Vahmu into “full” levels of Exhaustion that must be recovered regularly.
- One inorganic being or non-living animate within 45ft must make a FORT save (DC +3, WIS). On a failure, that target suffers the effects of three Exhaustion levels for 3d6 rounds (this effect does not stack).
- One being within 45ft must make a FORT save (DC +1, WIS). On a failure, the user chooses one of the six Attribute Scores; the chosen being then suffers 1d3 Attribute Score Damage to the chosen Attribute Score. This ASD lasts until the end of the being’s next Rest.
Noble
As a 2AP action, the wearer may spend 1 or more Kanohi Charges to choose one of the following effects:
- One biomechanical or organic being within 30ft must make a FORT save (DC +1, WIS). On a failure, the being gains 1 level of Exhaustion (to a max of Level 4 Exhaustion), which lasts until the end of their next Rest. If this Kanohi is used on a being that is already suffering Exhaustion levels, it has no effect unless the wearer spends additional KC equal to the being’s current level of Exhaustion. Additionally, if this Kanohi is used on a being suffering level 4 Exhaustion, rather than causing another Exhaustion level, it instead turns any levels of Exhaustion caused by the Vahmu into “full” levels of Exhaustion that must be recovered regularly.
- One inorganic being or non-living animate within 30ft must make a FORT save (DC +1, WIS). On a failure, that target suffers the effects of two Exhaustion levels for 3d6 rounds (this effect does not stack).
- One being within 30ft must make a FORT save (DC +0, WIS). On a failure, the user chooses one of the six Attribute Scores; the chosen being then suffers 1 Attribute Score Damage to the chosen Attribute Score. This ASD lasts until the end of the being’s next Rest.
Great Nuva
As a 2AP action, the wearer may spend 1 or more Kanohi Charges to choose one of the following effects:

On a failure, the being gains 2 levels of Exhaustion (to a max of Level 6 Exhaustion), which lasts until the end of their next Rest. If this Kanohi is used on a being that is already suffering Exhaustion levels, it has no effect unless the wearer spends additional KC equal to the being’s current level of Exhaustion. Additionally, if this Kanohi is used on a being suffering level 6 Exhaustion, rather than causing another Exhaustion level it instead turns any levels of Exhaustion caused by the Vahmu into full levels of Exhaustion that must be recovered regularly.
