The Kanohi Faxon is the Mask of Kindred. A Faxon Nuva is created when a destined Faxon is exposed to Energized Protodermis.

The Noble Kanohi Faxon allows the user to copy the powers of any Rahi that shares their specific environment (such as desert Rahi). The user needs to be aware of the Rahi species, but does not need to understand how its power works. The user is able to more quickly replicate powers which they have already copied before.

Mimic disks grants the struck target the ability of a Rahi that shares their specific environment, as chosen by the thrower of the Kanoka. The effect of higher level disks has a longer duration.
- A power is any ability that does not rely on an organ or mechanism. For instance, fish that breathe water using gills, or birds flying through the use of wings are do not have powers of water breathing or flight. However, powered flight such as that of the Kanohi Dragon, or the electric attacks of an Electric Bug, are powers. Possessing a Rhotuka launcher is not a power.
- The mask cannot copy Rhotuka powers.
- The mask does not work on Spherus Magna Creatures.
