Zanua
Zanua is an island in the Matoran Universe.

History
At one point, a pack of mutant Rahkshi caused havoc on Zanua, but were eventually stopped thanks to the efforts of the local Makuta's Hagah team. After discovering the Makuta was responsible, the Toa led an uprising to liberate the island leading to the Makuta’s imprisonment. The island has been recovering ever since.
Landscape
With the exception of the desert in the northeastern corner of the island, the majority of Zanua is covered by rainforests. Many of the villages here are built in the treetops where the Matoran are safe from the notoriously aggressive Rahi found on the island. The Akuni Mountains span across the island, separating the north and south. Zanua's largest settlement is located on a small group of islands just off its southeastern coast, thanks to it being safe from the Rahi.
