History

Nongu, the Last Land, or the "Key to the South," is an island obscured in legend and mystery. It is considered to be the very edge of the known universe, as few travellers have ever gone beyond it and returned. Rumors abound about the dangers of this land, but just what dangers exist there is a matter of pure speculation. Some say that the ground opens up to swallow those who set foot on the island; others that it is surrounded by weather anomalies, destroying any vessels that come near; others still believe that it is inhabited by unimaginably dangerous creatures. There are also some who believe these myths and legends to be a conspiracy hiding a land of greatness, equal to if not even greater than Artakha.
