Kahra

Kahra is a small island south of the Northern Continent.

History

In the time of the Barraki, Kahra belonged to Pridak, who later traded it to Kalmah in exchange for Parvamu’s recognition of Menota’s claim to Xia. Kalmah subsequently built a fortress on Kahra, but the structure was destroyed after the League fell, and only a few ruins remain today. Kalmah had kept a stock of Rahi there as tools of war – notably a group of Blade Burrowers, who escaped after the fortress’ destruction and now roam the caverns beneath the island.

Landscape

Kahra is a quiet area, located far from significant trade routes and once covered in dense vegetation (of which not much is left today).

Society

Kahra is inhabited by the native Leraku, a species of winged beings who produce a natural poison, rivaled by several settlements of Matoran who consider them to be little more than Rahi beasts.
