The Kanohi Lehrodi is the Mask of Air. An Lehrodi Nuva is created when a destined Lehrodi is exposed to Energized Protodermis.
The Kanohi Lehrodi grants its user access to the power of elemental Air. The mask relies on its own elemental energy pool when using the mask's elemental abilities. There are limits to said abilities, and as such Lehrodi-bearers do not have access to the full range of powers available to beings naturally-attuned to the element of Air.
The Great Kanohi Lehrodi grants the user access to the elemental power of Air at Toa-level while worn. The mask does not boost any pre-existing powers or recharge the user's own elemental energy pool. It relies on its own separate and finite elemental energy pool, and the user can (with skill) use the mask simultaneously as an innate power. The mask does not grant the user any innate elemental abilities such as resistances, and does not have the ability to absorb its element. It also does not grant species-specific elemental abilites such as nova blasts.
