The Kanohi Ruru is the Mask of Night Vision. A Ruru Nuva is created when a destined Ruru is exposed to Energized Protodermis.
The Kanohi Ruru allows the user to see in the dark.
The Great Kanohi Ruru allows the user to see clearly in any level of darkness. Additionally, it allows them a small degree of x-ray vision.
The Great mask is able to glow, casting a beam of light that also illuminates the area for others. This ability can also be used to blind foes.
The Noble Kanohi Ruru allows the user to see clearly in any level of darkness using infrared vision.
