The Kanohi Turama is the Mask of Fear.

The Kanohi Turama spreads great fear to beings around the user. Those touched by its power may feel anything from slight unease to outright terror - leaving them frozen in place by fear, causing them to run away, or even pass out from the horror they experience. At the highest degree of its power, the intense emotions have been known to even cause failure of critical circulatory functions. Using this Kanohi is considered immoral and breaks the Toa Code.

A Turama Nuva is created when a destined Turama is dipped in Energized Protodermis. In addition to its standard abilities, its effects last longer and are harder for targets to resist, and its power can be shared with individuals near the user; however, it can only be used by Nuva beings.

In the Doronai Nui

Great

As a 2AP action, the wearer may spend one or more Kanohi Charges to choose one being within 30ft. That being suffers 1d6 Psionic damage, and must make a WILL save (DC +10, CHA). On a failure, they are either Frightened and Paralyzed, or are Frightened and attempt to flee from you to the best of their ability for X turns (where X is equal to three times the number of KC spent). Additionally, whenever a being is affected by this mask, the wearer may force the target to roll 1d100+X (where X is equal to the number of Kanohi Charges spent plus the number of times the affected being has previously made this roll since their last Rest). On a result of 100 or greater, they fail one Death Saving Throw due to the massive stress of the fear.

Noble

As a 2AP action, the wearer may spend one or more Kanohi Charges to choose one being within 30ft. That being suffers 1 Psionic damage, and must make a WILL save (DC +6, CHA). On a failure, they are Frightened and attempt to flee from you to the best of their ability for X turns (where X is equal to twice the number of KC spent).

Great Nuva

As a 2AP action, the wearer may spend one or more Kanohi Charges to choose one being within 30ft. That being suffers 2d6 Psionic damage, and must make a WILL save (DC +12, CHA). On a failure, they are either Frightened and Paralyzed, or are Frightened and attempt to flee from you to the best of their ability for Xd4 turns (where X is equal to three times the number of KC spent). Additionally, whenever a being is affected by this mask, the wearer may force the target to roll 1d100+X (where X is equal to the number of Kanohi Charges spent plus the number of times the affected being has previously made this roll since their last Rest). On a result of 100 or greater, they fail one Death Saving Throw due to the massive stress of the fear.

Noble Nuva

As a 2AP action, the wearer may spend one or more Kanohi Charges to choose one being within 30ft. That being suffers 1d4 Psionic damage, and must make a WILL save (DC +8, CHA). On a failure, they are Frightened and attempt to flee from you to the best of their ability for Xd4 turns (where X is equal to two times the number of KC spent).
