The Kanohi Kualsi is the Mask of Quick Travel.
The Kanohi Kualsi is the Mask of Quick Travel, allowing its user to instantly move to any place in their field of vision. The user can teleport objects with them, but not other beings. A Kualsi user cannot teleport through energy fields, such as those made by a Kanohi Hau. The user can travel to places they see via a Kanohi Suletu, but the process is very risky; on a failure, the user’s body is torn by the attempt to teleport, suffering serious injuries, potentially losing limbs, or even dying outright.
A Kualsi Nuva is created when a destined Kualsi is dipped in Energized Protodermis. In addition to its standard abilities, its range is increased, and its power can be shared with individuals near the user; however, it can only be used by Nuva beings.
In the Doronai Nui
Great
As a 1AP action, the wearer may spend 1 or more Kanohi Charges to instantly teleport to any location within range that they have line of sight to. This effect has a range of 500ft per Kanohi Charge spent. Note: The Kualsi cannot teleport through invisible or translucent energy fields.
Noble
As a 1AP action, the wearer may spend 1 or more Kanohi Charges to instantly teleport to any location within range that they have line of sight to. This effect has a range of 250ft per Kanohi Charge spent. Note: The Kualsi cannot teleport through invisible or translucent energy fields.
Great Nuva
As a 1AP action, the wearer may spend 1 or more Kanohi Charges to instantly teleport themself and up to one passenger to any location within range that they can see. This effect has a range of 600ft per Kanohi Charge spent. Note: The Kualsi cannot teleport through invisible or translucent energy fields. When you share the effects of your Kualsi Nuva with one or more beings, you may choose whether or not those beings select their own destinations (within the range determined when you activated the Kanohi), or teleport to your destination while maintaining their relative distance from you. You may choose differently for each being.
Noble Nuva
As a 1AP action, the wearer may spend 1 or more Kanohi Charges to instantly teleport to any location within range that they can see. This effect has a range of 350ft per Kanohi Charge spent. Note: The Kualsi cannot teleport through invisible or translucent energy fields. When you share the effects of your Kualsi Nuva with one or more beings, you may choose whether or not those beings select their own destinations (within the range determined when you activated the Kanohi), or teleport to your destination while maintaining their relative distance from you. You may choose differently for each being.
Additional notes
When traveling to a place seen via a Kanohi Suletu, you must make a DC30 Powers or Use Kanohi check, as this process is highly risky; on a failure, the user’s body (and those of any passengers) is torn by the attempt to teleport, suffering 15d6 damage (this damage ignores all immunities and resistances), 2d8 Attribute Score damage to each of STR, DEX, and CON, and they lose 1d6 limbs. If they lose 5 or more limbs, are reduced to 0HP by this damage, or have one or more Attribute Scores reduced to 0, they die.
