The Kanohi Hau is the Mask of Shielding.
The Kanohi Hau creates a shield of energy around the wearer. While the wearer can still breathe, no object, gas, or attack except for unpolluted air can pass through the shield. That said, ethereal elemental attacks, psionic powers, or other effects of an ethereal nature, can all pass through the shield, affecting their target unhindered. The shield is weightless, and does not impede the movement of the user. The shield is only large enough to contain and protect the wearer of the Kanohi Hau, and cannot contain or protect other beings (the shield will push them away from the Hau wearer if activated).
A Hau can be made from Growth and Regeneration Kanoka.

Three official Hau models were made by LEGO. One represents the standard Great shape, another for the Vanguard shape, and the last the mask in its Nuva shape.
Three models were made to represent a Hau, one for a variant of the Noble shape, designed by Perp3tual and Oomatu and crafted by HahliNuva , another one for the Hordika variant of the mask, designed by Oomatu and crafted by Petrus, the last one for another variant of the Noble shape, designed by Perp3tual and crafted by HahliNuva.
