The Kanohi Avohkii is the Mask of Light.
The standard Kanohi Avohkii grants the user access to the power of Elemental Light. The mask generates a secondary energy pool that the user can draw from, though this pool does not regenerate and can only be used for Light-based attacks. There are limits to the abilities of said attacks, and as such Avohkii-bearers do not have access to the full range of powers available to beings naturally-attuned to the element of Light.
An Avohkii Nuva is created when a destined Avohkii is dipped in Energized Protodermis. In addition to its standard abilities, the size of the elemental pool it grants is increased, and its power can be shared with individuals near the user; however, it can only be used by Nuva beings.
Takanuva's Avohkii
While all Masks of Light are called the Avohkii, only Takanuva’s Avohkii has the additional powers often associated with such this Kanohi, being able to spread understanding to others, generating peace, and sense moral light in other beings. In addition to the standard powers of a Great Avohkii, Takanuva's Avohkii was also imbued with Toa Power, which transformed him into Toa upon donning it for the first time.
In the Doronai Nui
Great
As a 1AP action, the wearer may spend 1 or more Kanohi Charges. They gain a temporary secondary EE Pool to be spent on powers from the Light power list. This secondary pool gains 15 EE per Kanohi Charge spent, and cannot have more EE in this secondary pool than half the Cap of their normal pool. This secondary pool lasts for one hour and dissipates if the Kanohi is removed. The user cannot absorb Light, and cannot perform a Nova Blast of Light. The user has Toa-level control of Light otherwise. If a being has no EE pool, they use their Species Category’s generic EE Resource Pool to determine the Pool Cap (see the Elemental Index).
Noble
As a 1AP action, the wearer may spend 1 or more Kanohi Charges. They gain a temporary secondary EE Pool to be spent on powers from the Light power list. This secondary pool gains 10 EE per Kanohi Charge spent, and cannot have more EE in this secondary pool than half the Cap of their normal pool. This secondary pool lasts for ten minutes and dissipates if the Kanohi is removed. The user cannot absorb Light, and cannot perform a Nova Blast of Light. The user has Turaga-level control of Light otherwise. If a being has no EE pool, they use their Species Category’s generic EE Resource Pool to determine the Pool Cap (see the Elemental Index).
Great Nuva
As a 1AP action, the wearer may spend 1 or more Kanohi Charges. They gain a temporary secondary EE Pool to be spent on powers from the Light power list. This secondary pool gains 20 EE per Kanohi Charge spent, and cannot have more EE in this secondary pool than half the Cap of their normal pool.
Noble Nuva
As a 1AP action, the wearer may spend 1 or more Kanohi Charges. They gain a temporary secondary EE Pool to be spent on powers from the Light power list. This secondary pool gains 12 EE per Kanohi Charge spent, and cannot have more EE in this secondary pool than half the Cap of their normal pool. This secondary pool lasts for one hour and dissipates if the Kanohi is removed. The user cannot absorb Light, and cannot perform a Nova Blast of Light. The user has Turaga-level control of Light otherwise. If a being has no EE pool, they use their Species Category’s generic EE Resource Pool to determine the Pool Cap (see the Elemental Index).

Models
Two official Avohkii models were made by LEGO: the standard Great and an enlarged variant Great.
RSG has made a unofficial model for the standard Noble shape of the Avohkii, designed by Oomatu and crafted by Petrus.
