The Kanohi Kaketo is the Mask of Elemental Energy. A Kaketo Nuva is created when a destined Kaketo is exposted to Energized Protodermis.
The Kanohi Kaketo allows the user to instantly replenish some of their depleted elemental energy.
The Great Kanohi Kaketo allows the user to instantly replenish an amount of elemental energy, regardless of what their element is. If the wearer does not possess any elemental power, the mask does nothing.
The Great mask replenishes a greater amount of elemental energy than the Noble Kaketo.
The Noble Kanohi Kaketo allows the user to instantly replenish an amount of elemental energy, regardless of what their element is. If the wearer does not possess any elemental power, the mask does nothing.
The Great Kanohi Kaketo Nuva allows the user to instantly replenish an amount of elemental energy, regardless of what their element is. If the wearer does not possess any elemental power, the mask does nothing.
The Great Nuva mask replenishes an even greater amount of elemental energy than the standard Great Kaketo.
The Noble Kanohi Kaketo Nuva allows the user to instantly replenish an amount of elemental energy, regardless of what their element is. If the wearer does not possess any elemental power, the mask does nothing.
The Noble Nuva mask replenishes a greater amount of elemental energy than the standard Noble Kaketo, though not as much as the Great Kaketo.
Elemental Energy disks replenishes some of the target's elemental energy.
Higher level disks replenish more elemental energy.
Application
Blank Toa Disks, or Elemental Energy Disks, are typically created where no attempt to isolate a power is made during the creation of a Kanoka. If created in a mold made from Elemental Stone, the disk instead becomes a Toa Disk which possesses the same elemental power as the stone and can be forged into an elemental mask.
Though regular Kaketo exist as well, the vast majority of Kaketo (referred to as Ethereal Kaketo) are crafted using Kuta Zamor, a material produced and supplied by the Nynrah Ghosts. This makes their production cheaper or more efficient, but as a result the masks dissipate after being used.
