The Kanohi Rode is the Mask of Truth.
The Kanohi Rode allows its wearer to see through all types of deception and disguises. Kanohi Rode are always on at a low level, so it is impossible to lie to or deceive a Kanohi Rode-wearer. However, a Rode can only detect lies when the target is aware that they are lying. The mask's power also enables its user to see those with the power of invisibility and to see through illusions.
A Rode Nuva is created when a destined Rode is dipped in Energized Protodermis. In addition to its standard abilities, it grants the user even greater insight, and its power can be shared with individuals near the user; however, it can only be used by Nuva beings.

Additional notes
The wearer of a Kanohi Rode can see Invisible beings as though they were not Invisible. Additionally, the wearer of a Kanohi Rode is immediately aware if they are being lied to, though they can only detect lies if the liar is aware that they are lying.
