The Kanohi Hau is the Mask of Shielding.
The Kanohi Hau creates a shield of energy around the wearer. While the wearer can still breathe, no object, gas, or attack except for unpolluted air can pass through either side of the shield. That said, ethereal elemental attacks, psionic powers, or other effects of an ethereal nature, can all pass through the shield, affecting their target unhindered.
