The Noble Nuva mask is able to create illusions that are larger and further away than those created by the Noble Mahiki, though not to the extent of the Great Mahiki.
As a 2AP action, the wearer may spend 1 or more Kanohi Charges to choose one of the following effects:
* The wearer transforms into another being. They gain the physical Attribute Scores of that being, along with its AC and any abilities that are linked directly to its physical form (such as a claw attack) but not any powers (such as a Kranua’s ability to turn into sand, or a Rahkshi’s powers) that that being may have. They retain all the rest of their own stats and abilities (including the ability to do things like speak) that the shifted form may not have. The wearer’s form is physically indistinguishable from the original being. For each additional Kanohi Charge spent, increase the duration as is standard, and the wearer gains ADV X (where X is equal to the number of additional KC spent) on any Focus checks to maintain Concentration. This transformation lasts for 1 hour (or until cancelled by the user), and requires Focus.
* The wearer creates a visual illusion anywhere within 60ft that occupies a 10ftX10ftX10ft cube that lasts for the duration of the effect. For each additional Kanohi Charge spent, they may either increase the dimensions of the cube by 5ft on each side, or create another 10ftX10ftX10ft illusion. The illusions cannot be visually identified as illusions, and beings will treat them as though they were solid unless they realize that they are illusions (the illusions are not solid - they cannot deal damage, or support weight if, say, used as a bridge). Any being that interacts with an illusion makes a WILL save (DC +4, INT/CHA); if they succeed, they realize that it is an illusion.

''Deceive'' disks creates an optical illusion centered around the point of impact, according to the thrower's specification.
* The wearer visually disguises themself as another being. They retain all of their own stats and abilities, and do not gain any of the abilities of the mimicked being. Any being that interacts with this illusion makes a WILL save (DC +2, INT/CHA); if they succeed, they realize that it is an illusion. For each additional Kanohi Charge spent, increase the duration as is standard, and the wearer gains ADV X (where X is equal to the number of additional KC spent) on any Focus checks to maintain Concentration. This disguise lasts for 30 minutes (or until cancelled by the user), and requires Focus.
* The wearer creates a visual illusion anywhere within 45ft that occupies a 5ftX5ftX5ft cube that lasts for the duration of the effect. For each additional Kanohi Charge spent, they may either increase the dimensions of the cube by 5ft on each side, or create another 5ftX5ftX5ft illusion. The illusions cannot be visually identified as illusions, and beings will treat them as though they were solid unless they realize that they are illusions (the illusions are not solid - they cannot deal damage, or support weight if, say, used as a bridge). Any being that interacts with an illusion makes a WILL save (DC +0, INT/CHA); if they succeed, they realize that it is an illusion.

This transformation lasts for 2 hours (or until cancelled by the user), and requires Focus.
* The wearer creates a visual illusion anywhere within 90ft that occupies a 10ftX10ftX10ft cube that lasts for the duration of the effect. * The Mahiki is able to fool technological systems, since its effects are optical or physical, rather than mental.

The Kanohi Mahiki is the Mask of Illusion. A Mahiki Nuva is created when a destined Mahiki is exposed to Energized Protodermis.

The Kanohi Mahiki allows the user to create optical illusions. The Great mask additionally allows the user a limited degree of shapeshifting, and lets them mimic voices.

The Great Kanohi Mahiki allows the user to create spectacular optical illusions. The mask is able to create multiple illusions at once. Additionally, the user to imitate the voices and physically shapeshift into forms of similar size to the user. While they cannot copy powers of beings they shapeshift into, they do gain physical physical characterists such as claws or wings. The user cannot create illusions while shapeshifted, and they will not remain shapeshifted if the mask is removed.

The Great mask is able to create illusions that are larger and further away than those created by the Noble Mahiki.

The Noble Kanohi Mahiki allows the user to create spectacular optical illusions. The mask is able to create multiple illusions at once. The mask cannot be used to shapeshift, but the user can create an optical illusion around themself.

The Great Kanohi Mahiki Nuva allows the user to create spectacular optical illusions. The mask is able to create multiple illusions at once. Additionally, the user to imitate the voices and shapeshift into forms of similar size to the user. While they cannot copy powers of beings they shapeshift into, they do gain physical physical characterists such as claws or wings. The user cannot create illusions while shapeshifted, and they will not remain shapeshifted if the mask is removed. The Great Nuva mask is able to create illusions that are larger and further away than those created by the Great Mahiki or the Noble Mahiki Nuva.

The Noble Kanohi Mahiki Nuva allows the user to create spectacular optical illusions. The mask is able to create multiple illusions at once. The mask cannot be used to shapeshift, but the user can create an optical illusion around themself. The Noble Nuva mask is able to create illusions that are larger and further away than those created by the Noble Mahiki, though not to the extent of the Great Mahiki.

Deceive disks creates an optical illusion centered around the point of impact, according to the thrower's specification. Illusions created by higher level disks are able to be maintained for a longer duration.

  • The Kanohi Rode is able to see through all illusions, including voice mimicking and shapeshifting, made by a Mahiki.
  • The Kanohi Elda is able to sense beings hidden by illusions, but is not able to discern their true identity or appearance.
  • The Kanohi Akaku Nuva is able to see through illusions created by the Mahiki, but not shapeshifting or voice imitations.
  • The Mahiki is able to fool technological systems, since its effects are optical or physical, rather than mental.

Models

Three official Mahiki models were made by LEGO: the standard Great, standard Noble, and Hordika.

RSG has an unofficial Mahiki model: the standard Nuva (designed by Oomatu and Perp3tual and crafted by Petrus and HahliNuva).
