History

Few things are known about the history of Nurai. At some point, it was incorporated in the kingdom of Ruangu, ruled by Barraki Mantax.

When Miserix assigned islands to overwatch to Makuta, Kidrov was chosen for Nurai.

Landscape

Also known as the land of countless colours, Nurai has a mild climate ideal for the dozens of plant species found here, from solitary trees to vines creeping along rocks to small flowers. Looks can be deceiving, however, as quite a few plant species are carnivorous – latching their roots onto unsuspecting travelers and siphoning off their energy. The locals are wise to this, and thus commonly burn all plant life in a ring around their settlements.

Trade mostly revolves around fishing and harvesting of some of the plants, which possess a variety of useful alchemical properties.
