History
In the past, Lharis was frequently used by both travelers and armed groups as a temporary landing to wait out a storm or regroup before carrying on north or south.
During the Prosecution, a faction of radicalists that were once part of Ehlek's armies besieged the island using ancient Rahi of the seas in a futile attempt to bring all land beneath the waves. However, met with concerted resistance, they were defeated, and their Rahi either slain, freed, or forced into slumber. However, their attacks left major portions of the island sunken in the ocean, and the island has been largely uninhabited since.
In more recent times, the Brotherhood of Makuta built a fortress here to better control the coming and going of ships in the surrounding region. This seemingly minor outpost would later come to contain one of the universe’s best-kept secrets: a small chamber used by Makuta Teridax himself to record the details of his grand Plan, albeit encoded and scrambled to prevent anyone else from reading it.
