History
In the distant past, legendary teams of Toa patrolled the island's plains, mounted on the native Avohi Raptors, to protect the region from frequent raids by the hostile Bomohku clans of Asonara. In the time of the Barraki, control over this region was heavily contested: Ruangu attempted to claim the entire Southern Continent for itself, while Menota tried to expand into areas that Mantax’s troops had not yet reached – for example, the northern portion of Avohi. Following a long series of tense and drawn-out negotiations between the two kingdoms, Avohi was eventually split into northern and southern halves.
Landscape
Also known as the “Land of Light”, Avohi consists of seemingly-endless stretches of low-lying grassland, and is home to an array of Matoran villages and cities.
Society
To this day, certain groups in both areas are still trying to reunite Avohi under their respective rule, despite the League of Six Kingdoms now being in the distant past. As a result, conflicts between Northern and Southern Avohi tend to flare up frequently.
