Kadrah

Kadrah is an island in the Matoran Universe.

History

Early in history, the island was settled by a small group of Paxorak under Carapar's command, who were instructed to establish a military presence there. They were swiftly repulsed by the powerful Rahi inhabiting the island, including the shapeshifting Krahka species. However, even an island as distant and well-defended as Kadrah was not safe from the Visorak. The spider creatures smothered any culture that might have existed there, driving the Aijuka, the Krahka and several other unique Rahi species to near extinction.

Landscape

Kadrah's coastline possesses extensive sandy beaches and lush forests, while further inland, the ground rises to form a grassy highland littered with large boulders. Only few travelers have ever come this far south, and those who do are usually discouraged from exploring by the monstrous Tahtorak roaming the land, more common here than on Zakaz. Nonetheless, rumors have made it to the north, telling of a certain species of ape Rahi – called the Aijuka – with the ability to cure any known disease or ailment. Even more perplexingly, these Rahi beasts seem to have developed something resembling a culture on the isolated and unclaimed island.
