Located far to the east of Metru Nui, the Four Sisters are a cluster of islands in the Matoran Universe that are home to a thriving civilization of both Matoran and the native Layamat species.

History
There is disagreement over the origin of the "Four Sisters" name; some point to the four legendary Toa Rohonga who liberated the islands from the Barraki, while others say the name predates them and once simply referred to the number of islands.
Landscape
The islands of the Four Sisters are home to many large cities, and an equally large number of ornate monasteries, where the will of the Great Spirit is pondered, and greater secrets of body, mind, and spirit are contemplated.
