History

In the time of the League of Six Kingdoms, Phaidua was the location of Rhomahri, capital of Menota (the kingdom of Barraki Pridak). When the League was disbanded, the Brotherhood of Makuta took Pridak's fortress as an outpost of their own.

Landscape

The Phaidua Highland – located to the region’s south – is a rocky area ringed by the nearly-impassable Koikhi and Kirui Mountains. The Highland harbors many Matoran mining villages that make a living from the variety of rare metals and gemstones found beneath the mountain ranges. Phaidua’s northern half sports rolling hills covered in light forests and grasslands; the crowning cities of Ihidauri civilization – regarded as some of the most beautiful in the universe – are also located here. Notably, Phaidua is also the site of the largest military camp of the Brotherhood of Makuta outside of Destral, converted from a great fortress that once belonged to Barraki Pridak. The Brotherhood’s military presence makes Phaidua – and most of the Northern Continent – one of the safest regions in the universe.

Rhomahri

Foremost among Phaidua's cities stands Rhomahri, the ex-capital of the great kingdom of Menota – and as some Ihidauri claim, of the entire universe. Despite its formidable reputation and storied history, following the collapse of Pridak’s kingdom, the city of Rhomahri – and by extension, Phaidua itself – has gradually declined in both political and economic importance in favor of the better-located Inoatra.
