Stinger Whales are stinger-tailed, whale Rahi which live around Mahri Nui.
History
The Stinger Whale species was created by the Makuta using Viruses and Liquid Protodermis as one of the Rahi that inhabit the Matoran Universe.[1]
After the Great Cataclysm shattered the Pit and created an opening to the Black Waters, a population of Stinger Whales migrated to the waters of Aqua Magna.[2]
Injured Stinger Whale
An injured Stinger Whale was once found and nursed back to health by the Matoran of Mahri Nui.[3] It was armed with a large, metal claw and a large[4] Cordak Blaster that had been retrieved from the Pit,[5] and used as transportation and for battle by the Toa Mahri.
The Toa Mahri and Matoran later departed the seas, and the injured Stinger Whale was released from service.
Abilities and Traits
Stinger Whales are capable of carrying one passenger. They have twenty-five centimeter (ten inch) thick armor and can reach a maximum speed of thirty knots (55.56 Kmph/34.7 Mph).[3]
Tools
Stinger Whales naturally have a stinger tail. The injured Stinger Whale was fitted with a Cordak Blaster and a large claw for battle against the Barraki after being nursed back to health.[3]
