"Lurker" is a sadistic and powerful Ihaugafe who joined theDark Hunter.
Biography
Lurker committed at least one murder, and was banished from his homeland. Instead of striking back, he wandered the universe taking jobs to commit more murders. The Shadowed One, disliking competition, recruited him into the Dark Hunters. Lurker was given an option of what improvements he wanted, and instead of devices, he chose stingers, blades, and claws, plus two Kanohi masks on his shoulders to make him look like a winner of a battle.[1]
More than 7,000 years ago, Lurker teamed with Gatherer and Triglax to kidnap Toa Varian, using a Hagah Plasma Cannon despite his dislike of complex weaponry. Lurker and his comrades successfully kidnapped Varian and her companion, Norik, and brought them to Odina to give to the Shadowed One.[2]
On one mission, Lurker assassinated a number of Turaga in order to ensure their Matoran continued to pay the Dark Hunters for protection.[1]
Shortly before Mata Nui's Reawakening, the Shadowed One assigned Lurker to investigate rumors that Makuta Teridax was killed by a Toa.[1] However, Teridax soon took control of the Matoran Universe, bringing an end to this mission.
After the Matoran Universe was critically damaged in the Battle of Bara Magna, Lurker immigrated to Spherus Magna.[3][4]
Abilities and Traits
Lurker is very confident in his own abilities, forgoing extreme weaponry for simpler tools. He has a habit of dropping on his unsuspecting victims from high areas, relishing their surprise and terror at his attack.
His armor is decorated with two Kanohi masks, to make him seem like the victor of battles with Toa.
Tools
Lurker requested several blades and stinger armaments as his only tools when he joined the Dark Hunters. On at least one mission, however, he used a Hagah Plasma Cannon and exulted in its destructive capabilities.[2]
