Frost Leeches are small leech-like Rahi.
History
The Frost Leech species was created by the Makuta using Viruses and Liquid Protodermis to be one of the Rahi to inhabit the Matoran Universe.[1]
On Metru Nui, Frost Leeches lived in Ko-Metru, but many specimens were captured and placed in the Archives. During his partnership with Toa Metru Whenua to search for the Onu-Metru Great Disk, Nuju was attacked by a Frost Leech.[2]
After the Great Spirit Robot was critically damaged in the Battle of Bara Magna, many Frost Leeches emigrated from the Matoran Universe to Spherus Magna.[3]
Abilities and Traits
The body temperature of a Frost Leech is so incredibly low that it must attach itself to an object, preferably a living being, and suck heat out of it to survive.[4]
