The Dweller in the Deep is a huge aquatic Rahi that lived at the very bottom of the Silver Sea.
History
The Dweller in the Deep was created by the Makuta using Viruses and Liquid Protodermis to be one of the Rahi to inhabit the Matoran Universe.[1]
When Nokama was searching the sea for the Ga-Metru Great Disk, she found it in the jaws of the Dweller in the Deep.[2] It then chased her to the surface, where she tricked it into fighting several Vahki Bordakh.[3] The Dweller in the Deep then returned to its home beneath the sea.[4]
After the Great Spirit Robot was critically damaged in the Battle of Bara Magna, the Dweller in the Deep emigrated from the Matoran Universe to Spherus Magna.[5]
Abilities and Traits
The Dweller in the Deep is a gigantic, sleek creature, with a wicked jaw that seems large enough to swallow the entire Great Temple.[4]
The Dweller in the Deep is said to be the only being to prey on Tarakava,[4] though it prefers the Great Temple Squids.[6]
