Hitaku
Hitaku is a small island that makes up part of the Four Sisters in the larger Matoran Universe.
History
Little is currently known about the history of Hitaku.
Landscape
Hitaku is a small, volcanic island not far from Selix. At the center of the island lies an extinguished volcano, with a vast system of caves that lead deep into the bowels of the earth. While the volcano is no longer active, molten protodermis still flows through the lava tubes in the deep underground, and thus the heat there is unbearable for most beings. However, a tribe of Su-Matoran is known to dwell there, tapping the molten protodermis and using it to not only mold prefabricated stone elements, but also to extract metallic protodermis from it in a laborious process. Since the entire region of the Four Sisters possesses hardly any protodermis mines, Hitaku is valued as an economically important part of the region.
