History
During the time of the League of Six Kingdoms, Barraki Takadox directed his forces from his capital at Onopeturi, and built a great sea wall to protect the island. However, during the island’s reconquest by the Brotherhood of Makuta, the wall was heavily damaged and later scrapped for raw materials. Nynrah later also became home to a small community of Vokuru refugees, whose homeland to the south was ravaged by the Visorak.
Landscape
The island of Nynrah is known as one of the great industrial centers of the Matoran Universe, alongside places like Metru Nui and Xia. Famous for a local sect of Fe-Matoran master smiths – the Nynrah Ghosts – it is widely acknowledged that while Nynrah might lack the production capacities of Xia and Metru Nui, only the mythical Artakha could surpass Nynrahn robotics and metalwork. The island itself has been largely stripped of natural vegetation, and possesses no noteworthy natural resources apart from a handful of protodermis mines. In the distant past, Nynrah was known as the homeland of the Manidi species.
