The Gate of Ice was a huge gateway, shaped like a maskless face, located in Ko-Wahi on one of the roads to the Kini-Nui. Its mouth was a doorway that could only be opened with a specifically shaped key. On the other side of the gateway was the forest that was home to Kini-Nui.

The Chronicler's Company passed through the Gate to reach Kini-Nui with the help of Kopeke who shaped an icicle into a key to open it.

The Gate of Ice was destroyed after the Toa Nuva reawakened the Bohrok swarms.
