Dates on this page are given in two formats:
Years after Awakening (aA), a reckoning used by Matoran to count the years since they first became self-aware, and Years Ago, a negative count of years relevant to the time of the main story of BIONICLE.
For example, the time exactly one year before the arrival of the Toa Mata would be listed as (99,999 aA / 1 Year Ago).
