History
Unknown to anyone but the Order of Mata Nui, Airon's largest table mount – known as Paleva, the Weather Peak – once had been the primary base of the Hand of Artakha. Over the years, the whole complex was stripped clean, first by the ex-members of the Hand and later by both local and foreign treasure hunters - but rumor has it that the deepest reaches of the complex might still hold rare and powerful artifacts.
Landscape
Airon is a quiet region known for its characteristic mesas rising from the varied terrain below, which includes bogs, sandbanks, and almost-impassable bramble forests. Settlements are located on the coast and atop the mesas.
Remnants of the Hand's old fortress and secret tunnels still litter Airon's surface and lead deep into the island’s center, though years of equipment recovery and looting have taken most items of potential interest.
