Shasa is a Ga-Matoran native to Metru Nui.

Biography

Metru Nui

On Metru Nui, Shasa lived and worked in Ga-Metru. She was captured by the Vahki under the command of Makuta Teridax, disguised as Turaga Dume. She was then forced into a Matoran Sphere but was later rescued by the Toa Metru and awakened on the shores of Naho Bay on the island of Mata Nui.[1]

Mata Nui

Shasa underwent a reduction of size and strength and also lost memories of Metru Nui as a result of being kept in a Matoran Sphere. Early into the Dark Time, she took part in the construction of Ga-Koro from pieces of Airships which had been used by the Toa during the Great Rescue.[2]

In Ga-Koro, Shasa was a Weaver. Most of the time, she could be found creating ship supplies for Marka and Kai. When she finished them, Matoran like Hahli and Kotu would usually deliver these supplies.[3]

She was trapped in a sunken hut along with all the other Ga-Matoran during an infected Rahi attack on the village. She was later freed by Takua and witnessed Gali fighting off the attacking Tarakava.[4] Shasa and Amaya acted as Guards while the Toa invaded Makuta's Lair.[5]

Shasa also took a last stand with Nokama, Onewa, and the other Matoran, during the Attack on Ga-Koro, shortly before the Bahrag were defeated by the Toa Mata, and the Bohrok were deactivated, putting an end to the Bohrok Invasion.[6]

After the defeat of the Bohrok-Kal, Shasa was rebuilt into a stronger form.[7]

Return to Metru Nui

Shasa helped in the construction of Boats to allow the return of the Matoran to Metru Nui.[8] She helped as well in the rebuilding of the city, when they arrived. She temporarily stopped her work of reconstruction on order of Jaller, to force the Turaga to reveal where the Toa Nuva had gone, but she eventually got back to work.[9]

Shasa and other surviving Matoran of Metru Nui later left the city and migrated to Spherus Magna, as the death of Teridax had greatly damaged the Great Spirit Robot, to the point that it was no longer habitable.[10][11]
