History

Mohra was the nearly impregnable core of Barraki Carapar's empire, and after its end, the Brotherhood of Makuta also saw a use for the island: Zyglak incursions from the south always had always been a problem in the region, and the Paxorak were their sworn enemies. Given Mohra's wildlife, just a few dozen Rahkshi of Insect Control were able to field an army of millions. Thus, the Makuta decided to use Mohra as a fortification against the Zyglak.

Despite all expectations, the Kingdom of Hakori has outlived the loss of its rule over neighboring lands, and continues under a series of different kings on Mohra to this day.

Landscape

Mohra is an island known for its vast gravel beaches and surprising multitude of insect Rahi.

Society

The native Paxorak species can easily be mistaken for simple brutes, due to the frequent raids they conduct on neighboring settlements. However, if one takes a closer look,, they will find a thriving culture on the island, where pirate lords flaunt their wealth and tell tales of each others' bravery.

As is tradition, any Paxorak chieftain may challenge the sitting King of Hakori to combat in the old fortress of Horo Feyakhai, and whoever emerges victorious is crowned the new king. To assert their authority, Kings of Hakori commonly travel across Mohra to show their presence, as traditionally each chieftain exercises sovereign rule over their own territory.
