"Conjurer" is an ambitious Kolhaki Dark Hunter.
Biography
On Konora, Conjurer was a Kolhaki. There he lived peacefully until Ancient's actions threw the island into civil war. Conjurer participated in the conflict until his newly whetted appetite for conquest led him to leave the island.[1][2]
Conjurer gained power over a group of Matoran on another island by using advanced technology that he described as magic. Because he used it to accomplish feats that seemed impossible, he became a warrior-king in the land. However, he was unable to expand his kingdom or his power because of his followers' inability to conquer other lands, so when the Shadowed One offered him a chance to expand his power by joining the Dark Hunters, he quickly accepted, plotting to eventually take over the Dark Hunters.[3] At some point, he lost his tail as punishment from the Shadowed One for insubordination.[1][2]
Shortly before Mata Nui's Reawakening, Conjurer attempted to absorb the power of the Makuta of Stelt.[4] However, the sheer power of the Makuta overloaded his system and plunged Conjurer into a coma.[3]
After Teridax's death and dismantling of Great Spirit Robot, Conjurer was evacuated to Spherus Magna.[5][6]
Abilities and Traits
Conjurer feels inclined to make his victories look as spectacular as possible, in order to maintain the pretense of his grandiosity. As a result, some Dark Hunters believe he has the powers he claims to. He has a powerful dislike of water.
Conjurer possesses natural powerful telekinetic abilities. He also has the ability to fire Rhotuka that temporarily steal his opponent's power and channel it into himself, although he can only handle a limited amount of power.[3]
Tools
Conjurer wields a staff with disintegration powers. He also has a Rhotuka Launcher.[3]
