== Summary ==
The Order of Mata Nui leaked information through agents on [[Stelt]] that they were turning the [[Great Furnace]] of [[Ta-Metru]] into a [[Virus]] works as an excuse to fortify the city. Soon after they had finished constructing their defenses, the city was raided by the [[Dark Hunters|Dark Hunter]] [[Voporak]], and the [[Kanohi]] [[Vahi]] was stolen in the process.

Not long after Voporak departed, the island was attacked by the war fleets of the Brotherhood of Makuta, along with massive amounts of [[Rahkshi]]. As the Brotherhood invaded, the agents of the Order and [[Toa Mahri]] [[Hewkii]] and [[Kongu]] fought off the invading forces, assisted by [[Matoran]] manning the constructed defenses. However, the Rahkshi slowly overcame the city's security, and breached the walls through the hole made by Voporak.

[[Jaller]], [[Hahli]], and [[Nuparu]] soon arrived, and helped drive the Rahkshi back, although with little overall effect. Under the advice of [[Turaga]] [[Vakama]], they sought out Toa [[Krakua]], and had him replicate the sonic signal used to summon the [[Bohrok]]. A small amount of Bohrok, residing in the [[Archives]], broke through the surface of Ta-Metru, and began to battle the Rahkshi. Around this moment, the body of the Great Spirit {{p|Mata Nui|Being}} awoke, but with the mind and consciousness of Makuta [[Teridax]]. Using his new powers, Teridax created a storm in the [[Silver Sea]], causing waves which tossed the fleet about.

The Brotherhood forces continued to invade the city, but lost their advantage as the [[Toa Nuva]] arrived, using their vehicles, [[Rockoh T3]], [[Jetrax T6]], and [[Axalara T9]] to eliminate the Brotherhood's fleet. With the arrival of the Toa Nuva, the morale of the defenders of the city was boosted, and they finally defeated the Brotherhood.

== Aftermath ==
The Turaga declared a city-wide celebration was to be held in the [[Coliseum]] the next day, due to the victory of the battle and the awakening of the Great Spirit Mata Nui. Teridax revealed himself to be controlling Mata Nui's body at this time.
