== Abilities and Traits ==
Sand Snipes are a pest to the [[Matoran]] because they often burrow underneath Matoran armor and bite the organic tissue beneath. They are easily trapped: accustomed to barren regions, they are captivated by the sight of Liquid Protodermis, and sometimes dive into a puddle of it and drown in an instant.
