A population of Crawlers established themselves in the cables overlooking [[Le-Metru]] in [[Metru Nui]].{{BookCitation|BEU|20|entryname=Cable Crawler}} Although shy around [[Matoran]], the Cable Crawlers became a pest, due to their tendency to cut the thick power cables into small pieces by using their sharp claws, usually when they are searching for food.{{BookCitation|RB|entryname=Cable Crawler|page=13}}

== Abilities and Traits ==
Along with its hunting skills, the Cable Crawler has the ability to unleash waves of energy that can distort balance and cause vertigo. Cable Crawlers are also mostly nocturnal, and can be found in the dark of the night hunting.{{BookCitation|BEU|20|entryname=Cable Crawler}} They mostly prey upon small birds and other climbing creatures. The Rahi has a habit of nesting in cargo holds of Matoran [[Airship]]s.
