On Metru Nui, Boreas lived and worked in [[Le-Metru]].

He was captured by the [[Vahki]] under the command of [[Makuta]] [[Teridax]], disguised as [[Turaga]] [[Dume]]. He was then forced into a [[Matoran Sphere]] and weakened as a result but he was later [[Great Rescue|rescued]] by the [[Toa Metru]] and awakened on the shores of [[Naho Bay]] on the island of {{p|Mata Nui|Location}}.{{BookCitation|BA4}}

Boreas's physical size and strength were reduced by his time in a Matoran Sphere. Towards the beginning of the Dark Time, he participated in the Le-Matoran construction efforts of [[Le-Koro]], led by Turaga [[Matau]], using melted down pieces of the [[Airship]]s that had been used to transport the Matoran to the island.{{BookCitation|BW}}

In Le-Koro, Boreas became a [[Gukko Force]] pilot, and was often seen patrolling the skies of [[Le-Wahi]].{{OnlineCitation|MNOG2|5}}

During a [[Rahi]] [[Battle of Le-Wahi|attack on Le-Koro]], Boreas, [[Tamaru]], and the other members of the Force, were the only ones to evade capture. Later during another attack, Boreas saddled up with the other members and rode into battle. When the [[Bohrok]] [[Battle for Le-Koro|attacked]] during the [[Bohrok Invasion]], Boreas was amongst the many Le-Matoran to have their [[Kanohi|masks]] replaced with [[Krana]]. The [[Matoran]] were freed of the Krana after [[Kongu]], Tamaru, and the [[Boxor]] pilots ambushed the Bohrok and Matoran.{{MediaCitation|BOA|4}}
